For the Art to Life our group worked hardest at planning and preparing our project before the actual execution of filming. Due to our experience working together, we realized that planning everything (the location, the characters, the outfits, the shots) would make filming an easier and quicker process. We carefully planned out every shot and talked about the techniques we learned about in class and how we could execute them in our movie.
Due to our planning, the day of the shoot was fairly easy and we ran into very few problems. Problems mostly stemmed from trying to execute the project as close to plan as possible. But, overall it was a success.
It was a fun project to challenge yourself with in that try to create a storyline off of a picture brought many creative ideas - most of which we decided may too difficult to complete in the short time we had to film.
